Cover photo credit: Vivianne Roy After 4 months on the road, 40 000km+ sitting in a car, and over 70 shows in front of 5 to 3000 people with Half Moon Run, Laura Sauvage and Hannah Epperson, our “Each Other” album release tour is finally over. From Bergen Norway, down to Milan Italy, over to Winnipeg, Chicago, Montréal, Warsaw, Glasgow and Barcelona, we got to see some incredible landscapes, meet some truly great people (Canadian Border Services in BC, you guys sucked) and play some effing awesome shows. Through all the shit, the full gamut of health issues and the sweet emotional backflips, the band survived and no one got beat up. Still dazed from an insane roller coaster of everything, I’m currently recovering in Berlin, crashing on Aidan and Julia’s couch trying to figure out what the hell I’m going to do next. I’ve got a few more weeks before I head home and although there’s a lot uncertainty, there are a few projets lined up. - Glastonbury with Aidan Knight: We’re heading to Glastonbury Festival!!!!! We’ll be heading there next week and will be playing a paired down accoustic’ish set Sunday, June 26th. - Rock Climbing: I just back from an incredible 4 day rock climbing trip in the Alps. I’ll be posting that story and some pictures soon. - Orchestra funtimes: I’ll be playing the Brahms Requiem in August for Hilary Coupland’s birthday orchestra. More details later in July. We're making a few little changes over for the blogs! I had all my photography and music blog stuff spread out over 3 websites but now you'll be able to find everything right here. The other websites will still be left up and running in case you ever want to dig up an old post but all new music, photography, or anything else related posts will now be living here!
Hope this works out! Old links: the musicblog the photoblog |
